Ya know. I haven't eaten a banana in over a year.
This time last year Cyclone Larry ripped through upper Aus (Banana growing country) and wiped out all the plantations. What was left was pretty average bananas worth over $14 a kilo. I don't like bananas THAT much.
Yesterday I saw them for $3 a kilo... getting back to their old price (and so they should... a year on). I bought us one each for today's trip, and they were YUM!!!
So there you go. I make an LJ post about my first banana in over a year ;)
I'll update about the rest of today another time. Right now tea is cooking and then Sharyn and I are going out walking. I'm feeling pretty average too :/
