Please Sir, may I have some more?
Aug. 1st, 2007 08:42 pmFor the first time tonight Rebekah has put the Auslan words "more" and "please" together. She's been using "More" for ages now, but to slip the manners in there has taken quite some time, as I'm sure it does with all kids ;) The "please" looks more like "thank you" but it's good enough :)
YAY!
Oh, and while I'm posting about Rebekah and her sign language... she hasn't signed "finished" for a while and I've worked out it's because SHE has worked out she's not doing it correctly, so she hasn't wanted to do it the wrong way anymore. Now she has started trying to sign it again (in the last week or so) but she doesn't do it as she used to, it does look more like the real sign but instead of moving her hand from side to side she's turning it upside down. It is so cool to watch her progress in these areas and be able to communicate with us! :)
